Churchill College

The Mærsk McKinney Møller Centre for Continuing Education at Churchill College in Cambridge is an independent building functioning as a part of the existing college. The tower is crowned by a roof terrace with a view of Cambridge.

On arrival the building is entered from the north via a colonnade at a 45o angle to the longitudinal axis of the main building. Kitchen and conference facilities are situated west of the main entrance. The main building contains 60 rooms with views of the cricket field south of the complex. It includes 12 rooms for students in an independent building adjacent to the existing college.

A new auditorium is situated to the northwest. An octagonal tower, containing living and dining rooms, branches off from the main wing and provides a landmark for the college.

Construction was financed by the A.P. Møller and Hustru Chastine McKinney Møllers Foundation.
