The client contacted us to rethink the old apartment where she lives with her two daughters, which was outdated for the daughters who had grown up and now wanted a room for each of them and more comfortable, modern and well-lit environments throughout the apartment.

Project Description (highlight square footage, concept, main interventions, artwork/signed furniture)

The main starting point of this project was the preservation and restoration of the wooden floor and the updating of the house's general materials to bring modernity without losing the essence of the old apartment.

The kitchen, which was previously dark, had its materials rethought in a softer way to bring more brightness to the environment. In addition, we included a pass-through window in metalwork that helped bring light from the living room into the dimly lit space.

In the space, we created more functional cabinetry with more storage space, as well as more countertop support points, such as the sink area and the niche next to the oven tower.

The laundry room follows the concept of materials and functionality of the kitchen, making both environments more fluid and comfortable.

The living room, which was previously integrated with the third bedroom, was reduced in size so that we could now have a third bedroom for one of the daughters, but we brought lightness and delicacy with the furniture and colors chosen.

The highlight is the rack that fills the largest wall in the room and enhances the exposed concrete pillar that the client brought to us and wanted to emphasize.
The balcony was integrated with the living room, while the accordion-style metal door designed by us divides the space when necessary. The furniture that extends from the living room to the balcony hides the air conditioner condenser.
In the daughters' room, we brought the carpentry as the main point for storage, study tables, and dressing tables, with one of them needing a custom-made bed so that everything would fit perfectly.

The guest bathroom received the same relaxed tiling pattern and also received more natural light through the increased window opening.
In the master suite, the intelligent carpentry was well planned to accommodate good storage, workspace, and even a sliding door that hides the television. The bed, also custom-made, helps with storage and connects with the material of the headboard and bedside tables.

The bathroom follows the concept and pattern of the guest bathroom, bringing comfort through the cabinets in the vanity and mirror.
