The architectural concept is about slowing down. Part of the process was to closely relate to its context considering the local features and cultural aspects of the region.

The streamlined geometry, the use of different natural materials, as well as the white-washed façades all came together smoothly, strongly influenced by Comporta Style vernacular approach. Situated amongst the dunes, the site defines the layout and its forms.

The spatial composition of four different gable rectilinear forms, all involving paths, terraces, and flat-covered connections, establish an organic continuity between the single-storey volume and landscape.

As regards to the program, it can be divided into two parts: the right and upper core consists of the common areas, and the private area is organised by different volumes at the lower-left part of the house.
