Daphne is a project for a private client for the construction of a villa in the suburban area of ​​Melendugno, overlooking the rural landscape dominated by centuries-old olive trees and the remains of ancient peasant buildings.

A simple, linear and bright house, which appears among the branches of an old fig tree. The compact shape that characterizes the house aims to limit the impact on the area, and the interior spaces are organized on a single floor. The plan works on a modular and symmetrical system which enhances its geometry and simplifies the construction phases.

Two large windows allow you to connect the internal space with the garden and the surrounding landscape. At the same time, two shutters with a Mediterranean motif, as well as limiting the introspection of the private spaces, characterize and standardize the perception of the villa.
