Earth One is conceived as a contemporary commercial hub in Vadodara, bringing together retail, flexible office spaces, landscaped terraces and a strong urban identity within a vertically layered composition. Rather than reading as a single monolithic tower, the building is organized as a series of stacked volumes, each framed by deep projecting bands that give the façade depth, scale and a distinctive presence along the city road.

The lower levels form an active commercial base, defined by transparent retail frontages, double-height glazing and clearly articulated entrances. These spaces establish a direct visual connection with the street and create an inviting public edge. Above, the office floors are designed as flexible work environments with generous glazing, allowing daylight to penetrate deep into the interiors while maintaining expansive views of the surrounding urban landscape.

A defining feature of Earth One is the integration of terraces and landscaped breakout spaces throughout the building. These semi-open zones extend the workplace beyond the enclosed office floorplate, offering areas for informal meetings, relaxation and social interaction. Planting is introduced at multiple levels, softening the vertical mass and creating a continuous relationship between architecture and landscape.

The material palette reinforces the project’s contemporary character. Dark charcoal structural frames provide a strong architectural outline, while warm timber-toned soffits and vertical fins introduce texture and visual warmth. Large glazed surfaces add transparency and lightness, creating a balanced contrast between solid and open elements. Integrated linear lighting emphasizes the geometry of the projecting frames and enriches the building’s expression after sunset.

Climate-responsive design is embedded within the façade strategy. Deep overhangs reduce direct solar gain, while vertical louvers and screened panels provide additional shading on selected elevations. These elements also generate a changing rhythm of light and shadow throughout the day, giving the building a dynamic appearance from different viewpoints.

At the uppermost level, the rooftop is developed as a landscaped social terrace with shaded seating and open-air gathering areas. This habitable crown extends the workplace into the outdoors and completes the vertical sequence of planted spaces.

Through its combination of retail activation, adaptable workspaces, landscaped terraces and passive shading strategies, Earth One proposes a more open, layered and human-centered model for contemporary commercial architecture. The architecture seeks to balance commercial visibility with everyday comfort, creating a workplace that feels both prominent and approachable. The project establishes a recognizable commercial address while responding to the practical, environmental and social needs of the modern workplace.
