In the amazing site of Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo, with its world renowned staircase (il Bovolo), after the historical windows restoration, prof. Paolo Faccio from Faccio engineering asked us to realize his project for a stained glass covering in the internal elevator shaft. The pictures show some stages concerning the installation and the finished job. The construction of these windows imposed to pay particular attention regarding the safety, since Italian regulations are very restrictive concerning glasses for elevator shafts. The single layer Copper foiled stained glass has been bonded with resin onto a technical stratified float glass that meets the safety standard requirements.
