A European concept Cafe in the heart of Mumbai

Felicita Café is a European concept café, a social and interactive space for
people wanting a dense and meaningful conversation over a coffee and some light meals.

Designed to serve indoor and outdoor sit outs where the cozy outdoors
interacts with the corresponding busy station street while the indoor is much relaxed and noise free for a charming experience.

Initial planning and conceptions presupposed a warm ancient European nostalgia. That is when and how the material palette and choice of furniture came into picture. The lighting came out as good response to the environment one seeks in a cafe, where only the hotspots --'the tables' are lit and everything around is purposely dull. This reduced the load on the electricity too.

Another reason for this is also the presence of clear glass in the facade. It lits the cafe throughout the day and reduces the use of artificial lighting otherwise required to create an ambience.
