Flat Office

As part of the renovation of Flat Office Haliç, Turkey's first horizontal office concept and home to many important brands in Istanbul Ayvan Saray, it was decided to design the entrance facade and lobby. In this context, it was aimed to design a transition area that reflects the innovative, modern and visionary aspects of the different brands the company hosts, respects the design history of the building and includes many different functions. The lobby area, which allows the passage of more than two thousand people per day, was considered as a focal point and meeting point that responds to the different activities of the building users, in addition to being a transfer center.

As a first step, it was aimed to design a modern transition area with an arched entrance facade and door that attracts the attention of the guests with architectural design elements that are not noticeable from the outside, invites them towards the entrance door and allows the invited guests to pass in a podium atmosphere. Guests invited to the building are welcomed with high-prestige and intermediate transition tunnels that emphasize the identity of the building both in the entrance section and in the elevator hall. The intermediate transition tunnels are designed to control the guest traffic and to transport the guests to the lobby area in a controlled manner. In these areas, wood cladding material was used to emphasize the identity and history of the building. A high and bright lobby area welcomes guests passing through the intermediate tunnels.

The lobby area consists of 2 sections: information and lounge areas. Guests passing through the intermediate tunnels are greeted in the information area by short-term waiting areas, a ceramic information desk reflecting the corporate identity of the building, a specially designed ceiling system and landscape areas. In this area, guests are provided with the opportunity to get the information they want from the information desk, have short-term meetings with authorities and pass through the card access systems in a controlled manner and then proceed to the lounge or food court area.

Guests passing through the lounge area are greeted by a 6-story gallery that draws attention with its lighting installations, specially designed wall compositions, qualified landscape areas and a lounge seating area designed in the hotel lobby concept. The aim is for guests to attend important meetings in this area, relax in comfortable seating areas, participate in open seminar organizations to be organized by companies or use this area as a transfer center to disperse to different points of the building.

As a result, an innovative and modern lobby area that preserves the company's corporate identity from past to present has been put into service so that building users and guests can happily do many activities together, provide easier transition and become a meeting point for guests.
