With a young couple who have just conquered their first apartment, the LCAC office team was hired to develop the project, understanding from the beginning that this should be a renovated space and meeting their wishes.
Therefore, for the decoration and choice of finishes, they invested in an industrial style that mixes elements that reflect the customers' experience, passion and personality. In the valuable connection they established to find the reference materials present in the project, we found that the owners are very fond of skateboarding, surfing and sports in general - knowing their trajectory was essential to bring an affective memory into their new home.
The wall that divided the kitchen from the living room was demolished to promote integration between the environments and in its place the architects built an island. In this way, the social area gained more space to meet the needs of residents, one of which was to allow the free movement of their dogs.
With 18 m², the bedroom has as a highlight the white brick wall, very common in the industrial style. In addition, the space was shared with the cabinetry designed by the office to become a closet with a dressing table.
