The G40 building project is an attempt at a cross-section of cohabitation, benefiting from residential spaces, offices, commercial spaces, and recreational areas. The building is located in Warsaw's Wola district.
The two towers in the building are located in the Wola district. The residential spaces rise from a complex, multi-story base, overlapping horizontally, partly as a separate plinth for eight complexes with offices and services. The use of prefabricated elements and concrete cladding with relief, vertical ribs creates a delicate story, a curved line that breaks the monotony of the smooth surface and creates a two-dimensional play of words and shadows.
The taller tower, 90 meters high, plays a distinctive role in each of its individual roles. The building's façade is regular, with rhythmically arranged windows.
This gives the building a dynamic character. The tower's crown, which hangs the colonnade, is open and openwork, adding elegance and a happy status of architectural dominance.
The shared rhythm, created by the arrangement of windows and precast concrete elements with a relief, vertical ribbing, is interwoven with subtle details, breaking the monotony of the smooth surface and creating a double play of words and shadows.
