Upon arrival at the site, the architecture unfolds harmoniously, respecting the topography and highlighting the unique beauty of the 10-meter-tall pink Ipê tree, standing majestically on the left side of the lot. The residence is a modern interpretation of pure volumes and materials, seamlessly connecting with the surrounding landscape.
The gentle slope, which starts at elevation 0.00 on the right side and rises to 1.75 meters on the left, is used as both a compositional and functional element. The house unfolds into two main volumes: a semi-buried base and an upper rectangular prism. The semi-buried base houses the service area, garage, and complementary spaces, elegantly embedded into the terrain, minimizing visual impact while maximizing efficient space usage. This solid structure serves as the foundation for the upper volume, where the home's social and intimate areas come to life.
The upper rectangular prism appears to float above the base, embracing the social and intimate spaces. It opens generously to the park at the rear through large glass panels, allowing nature to flow in unfiltered, creating a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors. The living room, dining room, and kitchen form a single integrated space, where family gatherings and meals are enriched by the serene views of the park's trees. On the front facade, privacy is maintained with movable wooden louvers, which control light entry and create a dynamic interplay of shadows.
The intimate area elevates the concept of refined living, with two bedrooms that open onto small balconies, offering an experience of being in close contact with nature. The master suite is a sanctuary of tranquility, where the bathtub rests beside a large glass pane, providing a privileged view of the pink Ipê tree.
