This three-storey shopping centre will be built on the site of the former Karstadt department store on the Neumarkt in Solingen. The main aim of the concept is the creation of a new city center. This is clearly expressed by the shell of the building. The transparent façade has a second skin of perforated metal that runs diagonally over the building accentuating the main entrance on the Koelner Strasse. The building has been designed to provide retail units with an integrated car park in the lower storeys.
