Single-family home in a quiet residential area.
The client often spends time in the living room with friends. We adopted a plan with a living room on the first floor and bedrooms on the second floor, with a layout that resonated with the client's lifestyle. However, it is difficult to obtain lighting and a sense of openness in the living room, so an HP curved surface was inserted between the first and second floors to solve this problem.
The first floor is a soft and calm space with its curved ceiling composed of HP shell structure, and the second floor is an enjoyable place with steps between the floors of each room.
