Jetsmarter Office

L.S. Design as Architects

Jetsmarter is the uber of the air. A dynamic young tech-based company that needed a space that appealed to not just the wealthy older generation of private air travelers, but to a younger demographic that normally would not have the ability to travel on private aviation.

The space is located in the most prestigious building in Dubai, Emirates towers. This building as iconic as it is, comes with a challenging floor plate consisting of a few dead, dark and unconventional spaces as the main floor plate is circular. To counter this, we incorporated artificial light wells, a green vegetation wall and also mimicked the flow of the cylindrical façade internally. This gave us the ability to mask the complexity of the original layout whilst still maintain the client’s requirements. The space consists of soft lighting, glass partitions, wood floors and ceilings with an abundance of marble. The space is a testament to the visual simplicity of air travel that masks the engineering behind the floorless shell. “less is more”
