The architects of the LCAC office were hired to make some changes to the designer of the apartment of a young resident, in addition to carrying out all the management of the work. The client is passionate about the minimalist style, but without giving up other references that are also in keeping with her personality.
For this, materials that resemble nature were the priority in the order of choices. The flooring installed in the social and intimate areas was saffron vinyl, while the porcelain tile delivered by the construction company was kept in the kitchen and laundry. Also, the kitchen joinery was finished in freijó wood, together with the white granite countertop, they bring elegance and lightness.
The main highlight of the apartment was the German corner with the dining table. It is wrapped with a smooth freijo wood panel on the wall and with slats on the ceiling and illuminated with a LED strip on top.
The apartment had in its original layout an office that was not integrated with the other spaces, which displeased the resident. So, to solve the problem, the wall that divided the office from the living room was replaced by a panel in metalwork and glass – creating uniformity and enhancing the spaces.
