The creative hub Kumst in Brno is located in a partially reconstructed building from 1927. The main idea, in cooperation with the architectural studio Kogaa, was to sensitively combine the relationship of interior and exterior architecture with the authenticity of a functionalist building. Both in the architectural and interior design of the reconstruction, it was primarily cleaning the spaces to their original basis.

Kumst is a space for creative disciplines with diverse focus, its atmosphere supports and inspires artists and visitors. It’s a place for meeting, sharing and developing creative projects and start-ups. The total area is 4000 m2 and is spread over two buildings and four floors, it offers a variety of facilities and at the same time connects the offices, studios, meeting rooms, main hall, showroom and backyard into a new concept space.
