La Carnita Dubai

Solid Design Creative as Architects

The space celebrates urban culture through food, drink, art, and music. It's a street-inspired Mexican hip-hop taco joint that seamlessly blends the arts to create a unique and edgy customer experience. Featuring custom street inspired lamp posts, city security gates used as ceiling, wall & partition screens, tufted booths in rich leather and a 20-foot custom art installation of East LA street culture.

La Carnita transports visitors to a place of authentic street and urban culture.  Wheat-paste, graffiti and custom artwork installations fill the space and speak to the authentic influence from North American street artists. An urban concrete relief carving of East LA culture in brick, concrete, wheatpaste and graffiti, the materials and subject matter both reflect the gritty urban street-inspired vibe of the space. Riveted steel panels form a bridge underpass above the main bar breaking the mold of what it to be expected and creating a visually captivating space that brings the street inside.
