Located in Florianópolis (SC), this 550 m² house was built in the 1990s and was in need of renovation. The desire of the family, a couple with three children, was to have a larger and more comfortable home to enjoy at weekends. Architect Taíza Santos, owner of Revisite, was responsible for the architectural and interior design project.

"We had to remove a lot of walls and create new spaces to meet the client's requirements. The most significant change was the replacement of the garage, which used to face the swimming pool,

where we designed the new kitchen and integrated the spaces," explains Taiza.
With an imposing façade, the house stands out and dominates the corner. Outside, the swimming pool, the pergola, the dining table and the swing offer spaces for socialising and spending time with friends and family. Inside the house, on the ground floor, the social area integrates the living room, dining room and TV room and highlights the PUB, which was the client's dream. Upstairs are the intimate areas with bedrooms and suites.

The decoration is timeless in a contemporary style, with many natural elements that give the project a cosy and natural atmosphere, as it is a beach house.

The colour palette was carefully chosen by the architect in neutral tones, but the colours take centre stage in the decorative pieces and furnishings, especially the green kitchen table.

Highlights include the stone wall in the living room, the wooden slatted ceilings and the PUB, which was inspired by London PUBs.
