The client had the goal of establishing a new tech presence in the capital city of Sofia for their fast growing San Francisco based startup.
The approach was to create an office as a city within a city, empowering the employees to experience all activities - necessary and enjoyable - throughout the long intense work day in a closed space.
The design reflects the client’s recently rebranded web platform with the metaphors for transformation, fluidity, change. The see-through walls encourage informal collaboration and culture of openness. The carpet pattern is developed as a striking abstraction of the plum/seed blending orbs of the client's logo. It is adapted to the space to emphasize the rooms’ clusters and core meeting area.
