In the vast sea, many fish will gather under the light source and hover, perhaps because of curiosity, perhaps to survive, or to find a companion. This is the phototaxis of fish. These characteristics are like human beings curious about the underwater world, using the perspective of divers watching the underwater world in the sea, creating an installation space that is like being in the sea and surrounded by schools of fish.
Yu Yu Art has long paid attention to the relationship between local culture, land and people. With the accumulation of experience, each creation hopes to develop local characteristics and develop self-characteristics through the different paces of local culture and people’s lives. The stage of performance and find back the touches and stories in it.
This time, I created the Yuyuyouyou works for Penghu, hoping to convey the interactive relationship between man and nature, and arouse respect and attention to natural creatures. The shape of the works is minimal and has three-dimensional surrounding characteristics. Corresponding relationship, different postures and light and shadow are reflected through the light projection, showing the rhythm of the work's shape and the flow of light and shadow.
