Coutant and Campos Costa Architects are the responsibles of this project. Edíficio do Mar includes a temporary exhibition hall, the "Mar da Palha" auditorium, a restaurant and a new reception area for visitors. In the "Mar da Palha" auditorium, at the Oceanário de Lisboa, black Valchromat® was applied on the stage, walls and ceiling. According to Oceanário de Lisboa, the auditorium, with a capacity for 125 people, "is presented as a new offer for Lisbon and "Parque das Nações", created to receive several types of events such as conferences and presentations."
