Twelve years after its first collaboration with Louis Vuitton in Cancún, Materia returns with a new intervention that reimagines the boutique’s façade as a living, sensorial surface. Building upon an earlier exploration with wooden panels, the project now pushes the boundaries of precast concrete—whose plasticity allowed the reinterpretation of the iconic Louis Vuitton flower as a sculpted relief unfolding in a choreography of light and shadow.

The design is articulated through a single module which, when assembled, generates a continuous and vibrant surface. Each unit, precisely conceived, functions as both a constructive element and a vessel for light, contributing to a collective identity. Together, these components transcend their individuality to form a system that reflects both the memory of the original design and the expressive potential of concrete to shape emotion and detail.

This façade reaffirms Materia’s commitment to a deep understanding of materials and their expressive capacity—consolidating an architecture that is both felt and experienced.
