Maccaferri is a global company with more than 70 subsidiaries operating in 5 continents with an onsite presence in more than 100 countries and over 3000 employees. Their field of specialty are Gabions which have dramatically changed civil engineering’s landscape. Maccaferri offices in Albania is one of the onsite offices of Maccaferri in the Balkans.

Their office is located in Shijak, consisting of 3 separate buildings in which different operations are carried out to reach the final product. One of the buildings will harbor the administration which handles management of the logistical and financial parts of the process. For this we have proposed an area of 950 m2 occupied by offices on the ground floor of the building near the entrance.

Upon entering we are faced with the reception and a big hall that serves a dual purpose by transitioning into an exhibit space for the products. The main office space is an open space office concept which integrates several different functions from employees in one single shared area. For positions that remain in need of a solo office such as HR or the Manager, we have proposed separate spaces outside of the shared environment. The rest of the space is attributed to utilities and changing rooms for the employees.
