Marivan Medical Building, with a total area of approximately 1,050 square meters, is located on one of the main boulevards of Marivan, Iran. The ground floor and mezzanine accommodate a pharmacy, while the upper floors are dedicated to medical offices. A café occupies the top floor and rooftop, offering visitors a place to relax and enjoy panoramic views of the city during waiting times.
Before the project, the building's entrance and main staircase were located in a narrow side alley, reducing their visibility and accessibility. The design responds by activating the secondary façade through the use of carefully selected materials, a distinctive formal language, and a narrow green corridor at the ground level. A diagonal spatial gesture begins at the pedestrian level, guiding visitors toward the entrance and culminating at the staircase, strengthening both orientation and the building's identity.
The project emphasizes the quality of construction and carefully designed shared spaces, particularly the waiting areas, creating a more comfortable and welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
