The project addresses the need for a representative office building associated with a complex of four existing industrial buildings. The urban planning constraints of the industrial zone and the geometry of the plot resulted in a trapezoidal structure, which is functionally organized in a comb-like layout through the introduction of a series of interior courtyards. These courtyards zone the workspaces into three sections connected by a main distribution axis.
The brand image, both in terms of its corporate identity and the materials used in its products, became key elements in the materiality of the new building. The structure, which seeks to emphasize its horizontality by appearing to float above the ground, in contrast to the imposing presence of the surrounding buildings, is achieved through exposed reinforced concrete walls and cladding of corrugated metal sheeting in the company's corporate blue. The interiors continue this materiality, introducing a series of aluminum slat panels, a material manufactured by the brand itself, creating a series of neutral and open spaces. These spaces are spatially enhanced by the presence of interior courtyards, which provide natural light, greenery, and cross-views to all workspaces. The main corridor is widened and becomes a gathering and meeting place for employees and visitors.
