FXFOWLE recently designed the new OFS Brands showroom, a 10,000SF space thatshowcases the latest in office furniture designs. Located in lower Manhattan and boastingstunning views from the Empire State Building to the Hudson River, the design challengewas to create an environment that was flexible enough to accommodate a changing array offurniture in addition to supporting events and other industry related activities.

The layout is purposely understated, with a primarily white color palette to avoid conflictwith the vast variety of furniture finishes. The dynamic dropped ceiling plane showcasesrecessed lighting and linear diffusers, complementing the roughness of the exposed wafflefeaturing exposed pipes and devices. Polished quartz countertops in one area enhance thecorrugated stone wall tile, and smooth white wall panels surround a large display while anadjacent wall features small panels of different depths which serve to activate the space.
