This project is the architects own studio. The facade was vested in burnt concrete and the entrance became a box done in treated pine with a glass door where those who pass can observe the internal ambient. The reception was projected to make the clients feel welcome with the head space given by the ceiling in this area with double the standard height. The flooring was also done in burnt concrete and pine. The wall where the stairs are found was covered in stone from the region and highlighted with a wooden handrail that was encrusted in the stones. The architect’s office is found on the ground floor to facilitate access. Here the architect played with black lacquer and the lighting to differentiate the space. On the floor above the office one finds a full bath along with the pantry, work and administration areas.
