Interior design for the brand's second beer house, which opens in a multifunctional building in Barona, a peripheral area currently under redevelopment.

The project develops over an area of 120 sq. m. plus an outdoor seating area of 40 sq. m. and privileges industrial materials with references to the 1960s in a family atmosphere, seeking continuity between the interior and the outdoor area.

The pre-existing columns are covered with listels of sandstone and act as pivots to which tables with curved shapes are anchored, around which the other tables and chairs made from iron rods are scattered. The colour palette - orange and shades of grey - recalls that of the first beer house in Bovisa.

Common materials, more associated with workplaces, are used, such as PVC for the floor, perforated steel sheeting and grit for the bar, wood with laminates for the tables, sandstone for the tiles like wood panelling, widely used in the 1960s in garages and workshops, with the aesthetic enhanced here through the combination of textures and geometries.

For a cosy evening atmosphere, the lighting uses stage lights projected on to the architecture and Splügen Bräu suspension fixtures, designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, are hung over the individual tables.

The outdoor seating area, which looks on to the neighbouring park, is a sort of extension of the interior with long benches also covered in sandstone tiles.
