Located in Seattle’s Madrona neighborhood, the Craftsman home was reworked to open up territorial views of Lake Washington while introducing more daylight through new skylights and expanded glazing. The intervention is subtle in structure but bold in experience, layering color, material, and light to create a home that feels both grounded and rejuvenating.
The project—aptly named Spa-drona—centers on the primary suite as a true retreat. A teak-lined, boat-deck-inspired shower floor and soaking tub bring a quiet, Pacific Northwest maritime sensibility indoors. The kitchen and living room were reorganized for overall circulation and flow. New sliding doors and a Juliet balcony create south-facing views of the lake.
