The brief was to design a state-of-the-art pickleball facility in Westbury, New York, as part of Sportime’s broader expansion plan. The facility needed to feature 13 indoor pickleball courts, a café, pro shop, party rooms, new locker rooms, and showers. The aim was to create a space that supports recreational and competitive pickleball players while fostering a vibrant community environment. 

Space Optimization: Designing 30,000 square feet across three buildings to accommodate multiple functional areas (courts, café, pro shop, party rooms, locker rooms) while ensuring a seamless flow for user 

Multi-Purpose Functionality: Balancing the needs of recreational players, competitive athletes, and social/community-focused spaces. 

Aesthetic Consistency: Maintaining a cohesive and modern design language aligned with Sportime’s brand while adapting to the constraints of the existing buildings.Budget and Timeline: Completing the redevelopment within the allocated $2.5 million budget and on schedule to support Sportime’s expansion goals.
