St. Gerold’s hostel expansion and renovation

The cloister St. Gerold, which is now used as a meeting place and educational establishment, was modernized extensively. The Architekten Hermann Kaufmann ZT GmbH succeeded in combining the history-charged building with modern architecture without affecting the special and quiet atmosphere of the former cloister. Both the in-house shop and the seminar area are very comfortable because of the assignement of wood. The foyer`s glazed gallery presents special views.
