The Arbor Hotel is designed to suit the milieu of Baguio. Known with its vast numbers of parks due to its well master planned by the well-known architect Burnham, Baguio enjoyed the visibility of its open spaces, with the shade and scenery of pine trees and other oriental vegetation. It declares that the travelers/guest belongs to the community, that they deserve the home that they need in the area. It aims to integrate its surroundings with the design. Mostly, travelers go to Baguio to experience is often narrowed as the guest stayed in a hotel that is bounded by four walls. That is the matter that the Arbor Hotel planned the design incorporating the entire ambiance and openness to experience what Baguio has to offer even inside the Arbor Hotel. The architecture of Arbor Hotel mimics the expression of a park situated with open spaces in the center surrounded by colonnades of trees. It is a simple form that is both massive and expressive. The design was achieved by incorporating strokes like branches of trees and at night gives the in-depth character of the building with the silhouette of branches of trees.
