Originally built in 1933 by a ship captain as a copy of his boyhood in Bergen Norway, the existing house was built with a high level of care and craft, reflecting unique scandinavian building traditions and has been maintained in excellent condition over the years.

The light touch of the addition aims to add something new to the history of this home, becoming a distinctive feature of its time, while respecting and matching the quality and attention to detail of the original.
