On a small plot within the house’s grounds, a fresh, green shophouse space has come to life, offering a welcoming and comfortable shopping experience. This is a place to display fresh produce, dried foods, and natural cosmetics, all designed to harmonize with the surrounding greenery.

We’ve used a glass roof to allow natural light to flow throughout the store, complemented by wooden sun-shading slats to reduce heat, creating a warm but not stifling atmosphere. A standout feature is the gentle curves of concrete, winding through each corner, subtly defining spaces and adding architectural character. These curves not only soften rigid shapes but also “guide” customers, making it easy to explore each area.

The structure has two entrances: a main door for customers and a side door for deliveries. Inside, the cosmetics area is set apart, offering both privacy and elegance. Fresh produce is displayed at the center for easy access, while dried and frozen goods are placed at the back and along the walls, ensuring a tidy and organized layout.

Every detail in the design—from how natural light is welcomed, the graceful concrete curves, to the choice of eco-friendly materials—contributes to a harmonious connection inside and out. This design provides customers with a shopping experience that is both convenient and inviting, warm, and enjoyable.
