The concept for the Toni & Guy Seongsu project centers on exposing materials that were traditionally used as structural reinforcements, redefining them to express a new form of industrial aesthetics.
By deliberately revealing the “aesthetics of structure,” functional construction materials transcend their auxiliary roles to become key elements of the overall design.
Specifically, the major furniture and structures such as tables, waiting benches, and partitions are fabricated by connecting metal pipes to form surfaces and frameworks.
This approach creates a space composed of solid yet refined lines, where the unique textures and tones of metal add depth and harmony. Emphasizing the raw physicality of materials, the design offers a distinctive and refreshing spatial experience that resonates with a younger, trend-conscious clientele.
