Another redevelopment project in the Milanese capital by the international firm Giuseppe Tortato Architetti has been successfully completed. On commission from InvestiRE SGR, architect Giuseppe Tortato led the renovation of this historic building with a predominantly executive destination and the related interior design aimed at obtaining independent real estate units.

At the explicit request of the client, the intervention was conceived and developed to be compliant with LEED and WELL protocols right from the preliminary design stages.

The design concept of the ground floor and common spaces recalls the curved shapes of the building's original entrance, from which a true pathway leads the visitor inside. Welcoming and satisfying spaces made of precious materials follow one another harmoniously towards the reception area, whose sinuous shapes and burnished metal cladding help emphasise the stone walls and the two new curved backdrops.

Halfway between art and design, the undisputed star of this space is the majestic light sculpture Embrasse-moi, whose name recalls the play on words between the English brass (brass) and the lamp's curved, enveloping shape. Designed by Giuseppe Tortato, the suspension lamp has been handcrafted: a large sculpture in burnished brass that recalls the DNA strand, the weave of which unfolds like a fil rouge throughout the central space of the staircase, ascending all the floors of the building and giving the project an 'artistic accent' that makes it unique.
