Villa Lucca is an integrated community of 262 residences, comprised of fourteen five-story apartment blocks, 36 single-family townhomes, and shared amenity spaces including gardens and a clubhouse. The project’s hilltop site offers the opportunity to create a secluded and comfortable living environment with luxurious amenities, but one that is also expansive and inspiring with its commanding views of the surrounding landscape. Each residence is a quiet and protected sanctuary, while the community as a whole has the feeling of a modern hill town.
Throughout the complex, warm and inviting interior spaces connect to outdoor terraces and gardens, weaving together architecture and nature. In both the houses and the flats, large windows frame seamless views, visually dissolving the boundary between inside and outside. Cantilevered roof planes and trellises provide protection from the sun and elements, yielding elegant interior spaces characterized by soft dappled light. Moveable screens offer an engaging way for residents to adjust daylight, privacy and function of spaces according to changing preferences.
