In addition to numerous shopping opportunities, the mall offers a wide selection of restaurants, cafés and entertainment options, while innovative services and well-designed infrastructure ensure accessibility and mobility.

The open and modern architecture combines the interior and exterior in a very clever way and creates an inviting atmosphere. The lines and geometric shapes continue in the exterior and interior areas, emphasising the flowing transitions. Materials are deliberately combined in such a way that they blend harmoniously with each other or form an aesthetic contrast.

In such a large shopping centre, it is very important to have areas where visitors can sit down, wait in comfort, rest, relax or take a break from shopping to chat with friends.

The relaxation areas in Westfield Hamburg have been fitted with SPIN® Bronze stainless steel tiles as flooring. Each relaxation area has the basic geometric shape of an irregular trapezium. This trapezoid, which forms the floor plan of the relaxation area, is in turn made up of large-format stainless steel tiles in the shape of irregular trapezoids. Each floor tile is unique. No two formats are the same. The large-format trapezoids, which are laid seamlessly as flooring, were manufactured to the exact specifications of the architectural firm. 

Geometry as a recurring design element also ensures harmony between micro and macro architecture in the relaxation areas. A visual contrast to the neighbouring terrazzo in cotto and stone grey is created not only by the dark colour of the SPIN® Bronze stainless steel tiles, but also by the silk gloss, which emphasises the diversity of the properties of stainless steel as a material.
