Afterlife

We obtained a building permit for an office building, but we designed it so that in the future it can easily be converted into residential units or a hotel. To achieve this, we designed floors with a maximum width of 15 meters, a generic width that allows for flexible layouts for either office or residential use. We also decided to create two vertical circulation lobbies, whereas a single one would have sufficed for an office program. This not only allows for greater flexibility in the leasing of smaller office spaces but also prepares for potential future residential use without requiring excessive work. We also optimized the floor heights and prepared the construction for the potential addition of extra shafts.
