Hello Space, Architecture Biennale 2018

Our collaboration with the European Cultural Center began in 2017 with a site visit to Palazzo Mora, where we were immediately drawn to room #215. The space, which could be described as a corridor with no clear destination, sparked our interest. We began by focusing on the individual experience, aiming to guide visitors through the narrow, elongated room in a way that offered intimacy and escape from the collective atmosphere of both Palazzo Mora and the city of Venice. S4A Given the room's slender proportions, with its striking contrast between height and width, we realized that a solution in section would be the most effective approach. The exhibition installation took visitors on a historical journey through architectural models, concepts, photographs and movies. It traced the factor “time” in the two listed buildings and showcased their spatial development. Simultaneously, this immersive exhibition explored the aspects of our human existence and explained the dynamic changes of human life over time within... More

Hyperloop Suburb-2018 Venice Biennale

HOW DO WE WANT TO LIVE?Suburbs are typically thought of as dystopian, insulated places. Currently, on display at the Time Space Existence exhibition during the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale, the Hyperloop Suburb, a speculative immersive installation, explores whether hyperloop technology can breathe new life into these liminal spaces. The implication for suburbs, situated between the urban and pastoral, suggests an impending regional re-think, asking the primal question “How do we want to live?”BRINGING AIRPLANE SPEED TO GROUND LEVEL TRAVELBringing airplane speed to ground level travel, a hyperloop is a high-speed transport system capable of closing the distance between the city and its rural periphery. Thanks to worldwide testing of th... More
