I want to share with you our new modern-style project, which we successfully completed at the "Zapovednik" housing complex in the Orel park. This project took us almost a year, and we invested all our knowledge and creative energy into it.  cottage96 On the first floor of the building, we placed a canopy for two cars, a garage for two cars, as well as a utility block with a pantry, boiler room, and bathroom. The new building of the EBS Center on the Graz University of Technology’s Inffeld grounds marks a kind of starting and end point. As a figurative punctuation mark, the built volume was articulated as a free-standing complex. The Center’s distinctive six-story east-side façade provides the urban front facing the campus. Gradated building heights descending toward plinth level make for a gentle transition to the surrounding green areas and the small-scale built neighborhood. The building design has a large glass front, that blurs the lines between inside and out, and all academic and faculty facilities are planned around a central atrium.The primary staircase abuts the atrium space, and, apart from being a functional design, ends up being an all weather “social space”.The building is naturally ventilated, for keeping it cool during the warm season. However, the high performance glazing and UPVC fenestration system allows the building to be used in cold weather also, without being air-conditioned.Steel PEB is the primary structural framing, and deck slabs are provided for all floors. A plot with a privileged location on the greenest edge of the historic center of La Laguna but with a very narrow proportion is the starting point for a project tailored to the client, a couple with two children and a labrador dog. The existing construction lacked interest but the original hydraulic tiles were recovered before demolition.The ground floor is diaphanous and extends, diluting its boundaries, connecting the back garden, facing south with the park to the north.
