FC Kolos

Branded art installations receive a bold reinterpretation in the stunning FC Kolos installation by Dion Art. This custom art installation reflects the identity of the football club through a refined design that merges symbolism with elegance. Caption At the core of the composition stands a 4.5-meter-tall brass sheaf of wheat, gently encircling a football—a powerful symbol of FC Kolos’s resilience and energy. Acting as a majestic centerpiece, this custom branded art installation perfectly captures the spirit of the club.  Caption Surrounding it are six auxiliary sculptures, expertly shaped from stainless steel, coated with deep golden automotive paint, and sealed with high-gloss varnish. McCann Frankfurt

Bold contrasts and a skillful play with perspective – that is our interior concept for the new spaces of McCann Frankfurt. The area is designed along a clear light-dark axis. A white funnel from the entrance along the digital brand wall pulls visitors seamlessly into the heart of the offices. Similar to a well-told story, tension builds as visitors venture deeper into the new premises. This design structure not only creates a memorable physical experience but also fosters the connection between the space and the narrative told – Truth well told. Kirsten Bucher McCann, an international multi-channel agency with various sub-brands, commissioned us to develop a spatial concept for their location in Frankfurt, providing a comm... More

Sunwell Muse Kitasando

This is a building of a textile planning and trading company which handles the entire process from the production to retail. The site is well located on the corner plot near the fashionable city "Harajuku". The client had been focusing on female apparel business, so the concept of our building design which is a metaphor of female beauty was suitable for them to put across their corporate identity. The components that characterizes this architecture are the two curved surface walls which dominate the entire space. These two walls form a shortcut path which connects the roads in front of each side of the corner plot. This path which looks like a narrow alley or the bottom of a ravine leads visitors inside the building, to the event hall i... More

Hundred Meters of Fashion - Tokyo Fashion Museum

Idea The tissue of the plot has been treated as an elastic fabric, which can be stretched, pulled upwards and twisted so as to form the desired shape, based on the design-programme analysis. Programme-spatial and architectural concept of the museum A function of a museum is commonly associated with buildings with a wide, horizontal programme-spatial layout. They tend to be objects which are exposition ’packagings’, places of an individual contemplation, but also areas for meetings, drawing society into their world. How to create on a small plot, in densely urbanised city tissue, a space that would be drawing people into its interior? How to create a public space being a forum for meetings? What are the vertical connections in a lay... More

3.1 Phillip Lim-Seoul

December 2, 2009 Text by Dominic and Christopher Leong, Leong Leong The flagship store designed by Leong Leong for 3.1 Phillip Lim is located in Cheongdam-Dong, Seoul’s premiere fashion district. In a period of eight months, Leong Leong designed and oversaw the construction of the 550-square-meter store in an existing four-story building. The Flagship Typology - Sameness vs. Difference This project is a single store within 3.1 Phillip Lim's global roll-out campaign, which will include many international locations. Aware of the inevitable repetition that is necessary for such a commercial expansion, we thought of the typology of a flagship store as being characterized by the simultaneous need for sameness and difference. Typical... More
