Bold contrasts and a skillful play with perspective – that is our interior concept for the new spaces of McCann Frankfurt. The area is designed along a clear light-dark axis. A white funnel from the entrance along the digital brand wall pulls visitors seamlessly into the heart of the offices. Similar to a well-told story, tension builds as visitors venture deeper into the new premises. This design structure not only creates a memorable physical experience but also fosters the connection between the space and the narrative told – Truth well told.
McCann, an international multi-channel agency with various sub-brands, commissioned us to develop a spatial concept for their location in Frankfurt, providing a common presentation platform for all individual brands and their respective corporate identities.
Bold contrasts define the new design concept in its form and color, as well as the lighting concept. The interplay between Black & White, alongside the contrast between cool, sharp graphic lines and fluid organic shapes, creates a dynamic visual composition Moreover, we have given the floor plan two conical, intersecting axes, turning these intersections into pivotal hubs for communication within the space.
The Digital Brand Wall breaks with the existing contrasts. Here, color vividly unfolds on the screens, presenting the various sub-brands in their individual corporate identities. Dynamic digital storytelling.
Openness, expansive perspectives and wide views characterize the meeting rooms. Flooded with light, they invite natural light and provide an airy ambiance. Alongside enhancing the visual appeal, textile components contribute to achieving well-balanced room acoustics, ensuring a comfortable environment for discussions and interactions.
Away from the clear lines and striking contours, the rear part of the premises is characterized by a gentle design language that creates a warm atmosphere. Here, various niches provide diverse retreat possibilities. A selection of different seating options enables flexible use of the space. The organically designed seating staircase serves not only as a functional element but also as an inviting meeting point and central focal point of the room.
