Papple Steading
Structural Oriel Windows and Fire Rated Walk-On Glass for a Listed East Lothian Steading
Papple Steading is a Grade B listed former farm complex near Haddington in East Lothian, on the edge of the Lammermoor Hills. Designed by Richard Murphy Architects, the wider redevelopment is transforming the historic agricultural buildings into a mixed-use destination incorporating accommodation, galleries, event spaces and cultural facilities.
As part of Phase Two, IQ Glass was appointed to design, supply and install specialist architectural glazing for the conversion of former farm buildings and stables into the Demarco Gallery, a contemporary space for art, performances and events. Veluwe Farmhouse Transformation
The renovation of this 1930s Veluwe farmhouse focuses on restoring the original structure while creating a light-filled, contemporary living environment. In the former stable, several historic roof trusses that had been removed over the years were carefully reintroduced, strengthening the spatial experience and preserving the constructive logic of the building.

The stable has been opened up into a generous living kitchen, with new façade openings and steel window frames that draw daylight deep into the interior. A thatched extension adds additional living space while connecting seamlessly to the traditional vocabulary of the farmstead.
