Skypark Business Center in Luxembourg is a striking airport development where architecture, movement and material expression come together. Located next to Luxembourg Airport, the building forms part of the wider Airport City development and is designed as a sustainable business destination with offices, retail, hospitality and public spaces. For this project, Alumet supplied anodized aluminium in AluCopper 02. The warm copper tone supports the building’s sculptural shape and gives the façade a strong visual identity from every angle. A new pavilion for Vietnam’s Van Don Airport recalls the textures of mid-century Modernism and the rocky mountains of nearby Ha Long Bay. Located directly on the departures concourse, one of the main challenges for the pavilion lay in balancing a sense of enclosure with the need for product visibility. Three solid walls which house the back-of-house and display walls form the backbone of the pavilion, while pigmented concrete screen blocks form a visually transparent facade.
