Sycamore Glen
Located in a wooded valley on the outskirts of Philadelphia, Sycamore Glen is a single-family home nestled among mature trees, overlooking Wister Creek. Bordered closely by neighboring houses to the west, the narrow site informed a linear organization and a careful balance of privacy, light, and views.

The house is structured around a series of parallel masonry walls that divide space, define rhythm, and extend beyond the envelope to articulate thresholds and terraces. A recessed entry, marked by a cantilevered overhang, leads to a quiet, compressed threshold before opening into a living and dining area that extends outward to a terrace surrounded by evergreen ferns.

Makran Steel Factory Guesthouse
This project is situated on a 6,900-square-meter plot within the Makran Steel Factory site in Sistan and Baluchestan Province. Given the factory's expanding zones, the need for a guesthouse for various visitors became increasingly essential.

This guesthouse is designed within this industrial complex to go beyond mere short-term lodging, offering guests a place for connection and relaxation. MindLabs: Tilburg train maintenance depot reinvented as a knowledge exchange centre
In Tilburg (NL), an old train maintenance depot has been reinvented by Ector Hoogstad Architecten as a knowledge exchange centre for digital technology. Called MindLabs, the project accommodates educational institutions, businesses, and start-ups under one roof to facilitate collaborations involving artificial intelligence, robotics, natural language, virtual reality, avatars, and gaming.
