Alufac Panel
Alufac Panel is a flexible, aesthetic aluminium facade cladding built as a closed climate envelope that protects the building from wind and weather while staying breathable thanks to rear ventilation. It's the closed counterpart to Napsu — and comparable to Woodfac Panel, but with aluminium slats instead of wood.
Its modular structure lets you vary slat lengths, spacings and designs, and combine materials freely, so the facade reflects the unique character of each building. The system is mounted entirely without visible screws for a clean, sharp, uninterrupted appearance, and integrated thermal movement lets every component expand and contract independently — eliminating internal stress and structural damage.

POHL supplied the anodised aluminium surfaces and captured the project through their photography, showing how daylight shifts across the reflective metal.

Tokyo-based Makoto Yamaguchi Design has completed the new headquarters of a Japanese gaming company in Tokyo’s Taitō Ward. “Monospinal” is a building characterized by a series of stacking floors with slanting walls, its architectural style having the contemporary appearance of a traditional Japanese pagoda.

Mount Si High School, east of Seattle, lies on the western margin of the Cascade Mountain Range just above the coastal plains around Puget Sound. There was a focus on the relationship between the interior and exterior materials, seen in the facade material selections.
