Suolahti comprehensive School
The Suolahti comprehensive school was designed in close cooperation with its future users and city representatives. The goal was to make the premises as flexible, multifunctional and efficient as possible, as well as economically and structurally sustainable.

The old side of the school represents a straightforward, markedly 70s style building. A new part was designed to strike the same chord while reflecting the softer values of the present. A red-brick facade and strip windows tie the extension to the old side of the architecture, and the extension does not rise higher than the original school.

Bronx High School for the Visual Arts Gym Annex
Bronx High School for the Visual Arts Gymnasium Annex was designed and constructed as part of the Universal Physical Education Initiative which addresses the needs of schools lacking dedicated physical education facilities.

The new gymnasium annex spans 16,300 square feet and features basketball and volleyball courts, bleachers, and a flexible folding partition, all designed to create a versatile space. Skylights and acoustic wood paneling enhance natural lighting and sound quality, providing an optimal environment for physical activities.
