AXA Matignon

An unconventional redevelopmentWith La Fondation, PCA-STREAM has radically transformed an unconventional complex—comprising an above-ground car park and a 1960s building—by breathing new life into it. The firm opted for a major redevelopment, designed to preserve the building’s charm whilst endowing it with the qualities of a contemporary structure. The complex featured a striking spiral ramp, spacious industrial-style volumes, large open-plan areas, and interesting materials such as concrete, brick and ironwork… all elements characteristic of a neo-industrial style favoured by creative professionals, and reflected in the unconventional office spaces sought after by innovative companies. STRIPES.

Can the city itself become a living archive of our planetary change? STRIPES is an urban-land-art installation that transforms the Boulevard des Champs-Élysées into a monumental climate narrative: a chromatic journey from past to present, from blue to red, from cold to hot. Cosimo Scotucci For centuries the Champs-Élysées has been a stage for history: triumphs, dreams and collective memory. Yet today it stands at the threshold of another defining story: the story of our changing climate. STRIPES is conceived as a visible timeline etched in light: each lamp post tuned to a specific temperature that corresponds to a moment in Earth’s climatic history following the Climate Stripes concept originated fro... Concept for a Café in Building of Grenelle Station

The "Petite Ceinture" is an iconic heritage of Paris. It is represented by its bridges, tracks, station buildings, and auxiliary constructions: depots, ticket offices, and other service buildings. Some of these have already been restored, like the Gare de Montrouge-Ceinture and Gare de Passy-la-Muette, others are being prepared for restoration, and some are abandoned or have been demolished. For example, the main building of Grenelle Station at Place Balard has not survived—only archival photographs remain—but the ticket office/entrance building still stands. Caption According to maps, it housed some businesses some time ago, but for several years now, it has appeared abandoned and fenced off. It is sad to see it in this s... More
