Modern Residence located on a dry lot of the DiLido Island in Miami Beach. 3,850 sq ft of living area that shapes and proposed a solution for a challenged corner lot, minimizing the impact and strategically integrated with the neighborhood thanks to a shift back of the house in the large section of the lot, giving the open space to the street where the pool and outdoor areas are a visual extension of the urban space. Vertical Louvers has been introduced on the 2nd floor balconies to provide another floating shape to this modern residence. An architectural project runs for at least an year and a half, starting from ideas to paper to site to completion. Over this time the architect grows and the project develops too, some things change some don't. We at PAA are flexible and innovating throughout the project cycle. Daarbast Café is about 376 square meters. The main goal of its interior design is creating social interaction among people. The possibility for establishing other branches of the café in future was considered in order to fulfill the owner’s request. Scaffolds are used as the main structure of design which grants an identity to the space. A part of the exterior wall is destroyed to benefit from sun light and natural views. The scaffold provided the context in which we could increase the area of the space and create visual transparency. Implementing the scaffolds not only impose low budget to the project but also create the possibility of various decoration fashions. This contemporary apartment was designed to replace an old childhood home. Despite the limitations in the design of the plan and its inability to create a nostalgic atmosphere, we tried to design the facade of the structure’s corner with playful rainbow colored highlights woods, rusted bars, these colorful windows appears to be a painting for children and infants from the old home reminiscent of sweet childhood times. The goal of this project was to transform an existing storage on the roof of a residential apartment to a livable place. Considering the fact that existing space was very limited, design team initial concept was to incorporate all the residential required spaces in such a small space. Unlike the typical process of dividing the space into various spaces, and each space for one specific activity, 45 sqm. home offers one single space which changes constantly based on different functions and activities. THIS STREET, COMPRISES AN ATTACHED ROW OF FIVE VICTORIAN BRICK SINGLE STOREY HOUSES.THE ORIGINAL FRONT PART OF OUR CLIENT’S HOUSE CONSISTS OF A CORRIDOR ON THE NORTHERN SIDE WITH ACCESS TO THE TWO BEDROOMS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE.
